Shalini Misra is an internationally recognised interior architect, designer and property developer, and has studied MSc in architecture at UCL Bartlett in London after studying at the School of Planning and Architecture in Delhi, urban planning at Columbia University in New York and researched construction at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. She is a committee member of BIID and the South Asian Acquisition Committee at Tate Modern, and sits on the board of KLC and Sushant School of Architecture & Design, where she teaches a lecture series called ‘Beyond the Skin’.

She creates spacious interiors, which are comfortable and functional, without being minimalistic in her design. Art plays an important part in Shalini’s interiors with a fusion of classic and contemporary, offering a buying service if required.

She is currently working on a farmhouse in Delhi designed from the ground up and for which she is collaborating with Charles Jencks on the landscape design. Other forthcoming projects include a luxury home in Mumbai, a 26,000 sq foot villa in Dubai, houses in London and apartments in NYC. hi Public School and the Doon School.

Shalini Misra Limited is a multi-award winning London-based architecture and interior design company, with a diverse portfolio of projects all over the world. It was founded in 1996 by Shalini Misra, In the summer of 2016, Shalini Mishra Limited nalised the development of a set of luxury ats in Mayfair, London. To launch them she created SQUAT, a pop-up design-cum-art-showroom in collaboration with Nilufar Gallery.
