Shimul Javeri Kadri

Shimul Javeri Kadri studied architecture in Mumbai at the Academy of Architecture, and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She has worked across India in the areas of education, hospitality, corporate ofces and cultural buildings, developing unique identities based on the historical legacy of the area as well as the climatic situation.
The use of contemporary innovations drawn from Indian traditions has won them numerous international awards and several National awards from the Indian Institute of Architects, as well Indian Institute of Interior Designers.
Shimul Javeri Kadri Architects was founded by Shimul Jhaveri Kadri in 1990 in Mumbai. The rm employs about 15-20 people and pivots around Associate Architects Sarika Shetty & Vaishali Shankar who head and run the architecture projects and Roshni Kshirsagar heads interior design for the rm.
The nature of the practice has been to use the sun and the wind to their advantage to create inside out environments that are ecologically sound and naturally beautiful.
