In 2009, Andre became the youngest photographer to receive the ‘National Academy Award for Visual Art’ by the National Lalitkala Academy. His journey from a small village in Eastern Bhutan to this award is a fascinating map weaved around the world.
He is a favourite amongst national and international design architecture publications like Architectural Digest, Architectural Review, Domas, Plan, Mondo Arch.
He is the photographer behind the stunning collection called ‘The Presidential Retreats of India’ that was commissioned to him by the Rashtrapati Bhawan and released by the Prime Minister in 2015.
