Dayanita Singh is an artist whose medium is photography and the book object is her primary form. She builds mobile museums and most recently a pocket museum. She has published thirteen books like Zakir Hussain, Go Away Closer, Sent A Letter, Blue Book , House of Love and most recently Museum Bhavan, a pocket museum. Her works have been shown in several museums including TOP museum Tokyo, MAST Bologna, Frankfurt , Art Institute of Chicago , the Hayward Gallery, London and the Mapfre Foundation, Madrid. She has also shown in the 2nd Kochi Biennale, Sydney Biennale and twice at the Venice Biennale.
